For today’s post, I decided to finally give you the secret of my homemade Italian lasagnas recipe🇮🇹First of all, it is a very easy one : you won’t need a lot of ingredients nor time. It’s a yummy recipe and when you have time and people to cook with, it’s comforting too (especially during quarantine). Last advice, you can eat your lasagnas with a delicious Montepulciano di Abruzzo red wine (eat it the Italian way…)🍷
👩🏻🍳Let’s do it :
To start, try to go to your farmers market to buy your ingredients🥫I always choose for organic and fresh ingredients (even caned). Therefore, you will need the following (for 2 people) :
- 200 gr. of lasagna pasta sheets
- 200 gr. of ground red meet
- 400 gr. of crushed tomato sauce
- 2 white onions
- 10 garlic cloves
- 2 sand-grown carrots
- 2 zucchinis
- Your favorite seasoning + salt + pepper
- Sour cream + parmesan + parsley for topping
Start by cutting both the white onions and garlic cloves. Then, steer them together in a wide pot and in a good amount of olive oil. Then, when they both start to be a little brown, add salt, pepper and your seasoning. My favorite in lasagnas are oregano, paprika, thym and parsley😋
The secrets of these lasagnas recipe is the way you cut the zucchinis and carrots🥕Peel, trim and slice both as shown in the picture above and add them to the pan. Here, it’s better to cook them low and never stop steering.
Then, add to your pot the crushed tomato sauce and let the sauce steam for 10 minutes at medium temperature. Don’t forget to steer all along the preparation! At the same time, in another pan, add olive oil and the ground red meet. Heat the meet and when it’s ready, add to the pot. Then, let your preparation cook for 15 minutes at a very low heat.
Preheat your oven at 180* celsius. Then, in a rectangular-shaped platter, spread your meat sauce at the bottom and arrange 1 lasagna pasta sheet over meat sauce. Repeat until you reach the top of your platter. Put your lasagnas on the oven for 25 minutes at 180* celsius. When it’s ready, put a big spoon of sour cream, parmesan and fresh parsley✨BUON APPETITO✨
